For the first time in Lebanon, on August 16, 2022, Tamanna is bringing together several artists and renowned DJs. A true dream party that will allow the dreams of critically ill children to come true. Living through the national crisis since the start of the financial downfall and the tragedy of August 4, 2020, Tamanna is trying in vain to have the means to continue its activities and reach its main objective of making children’s dreams come true. Hence the idea of Tamanna’s founder, Diala El Fil, and the board members volunteers to organize this dream party in order to collect a maximum of funds that will allow the NGO to fulfill its goal. Turning a wish into reality empowers a child to fight back, giving him hope, strength, and happiness. Tamanna is a non-profit organization that was founded in December 2005 in memory of Karim Rayess. The organization has a mission to grant the wishes of children suffering from critical illnesses. Any child between 3 and 18 years of age suffering from a lifethreatening illness, residing or being treated in Lebanon is eligible for a wish. Wishes are served without regard to nationality, religion, or socio-economic background. Throughout 17 years of experience, and over 30 volunteers across the country, working with all hospitals, over 2050 wishes has been granted and we were able to fulfill our mission and turn tears into laughter and hope. We remain committed to fulfilling our mission, and we hope to continue reaching as many children as possible, since a wish granted is a powerful tool to help spirits rise, bringing a ray of sunshine into lives dominated by pain. We are organizing our annual party at Qanat Bakich on the 16th of August 2022, at 7 PM, hosting one of the most famous artists for a special appearance, DJ Rodge as well as other great talents such as the amazing Ghenwa Nemnom, in addition to other renowned DJ’s, Rea, Caline, Sam & Tarek and the international Obee & Tomas. The proceeds of this event will strengthen the momentum of Tamanna’s activities.
