Dr. Anthony Fakhoury, Founder of Smile to Smile Dental Clinics participated in Miss Zahle 2022 event, which was held after an absence for three years due to Corona pandemic. Dr. Fakhoury was a member of the jury that chose the queen and the winners .
This distinctive aesthetic festival was held in the tourist complex "Al-Tilal Bay Beit Al-Sit" in Ksara, under the patronage of the municipality of Zahle - Mualaqah – Taanayel organised by Asdaa magazine and website, Zahle and Bekaa, and supervised by Mrs Nicole Sadaka, in the presence of Minister of Industry, George Boujikian, Deputies Georges Okais and Elias Estephan, Former Minister and Deputy Elie Marouni, Tunisian Ambassador to Lebanon, Boraoui Al-Imam, Bekaa Governor Judge Kamal Abou Jaoudeh, President of The municipality of Zahle and Taanayel Engineer Asaad Zughaib, political, social, economic, media and artistic figures and the families of the contests.
Elise Hajjar was crowned as beauty queen of Zahle, for 2022 out of 12 contestants competing for the title. Rita Fadel won the first runner-up, while the second runner-up went to Maria Farha. As for Cynthia Bachaalani, she won the third runner-up title. Theresia Maria Burgess was awarded the title of miss social media.
Miss Zahle Festival honored Dr. Anthony Fakhoury for his efforts and contributions at Smile to Smile Dental Clinics and representative George Okais presented him a trophy. Dr. Anthony Fakhoury, in turn, presented Miss Zahle Elise Hajjar a gift voucher with complete care for her teeth and smile, signed by Smile to Smile Dental Clinics, and all members of the jury were honored with trophees of appreciation. The jury included the head of the Zahle Cultural Gathering Maroun Makhoul, Media Figure Matilda Farjallah, Media Figure Raja Nasr El-Din, Actress Nadine Al Rassi, Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon, Dr. Hratch Saghbazarian, Singer Naji Al-Osta, Singer Shiraz, Media Figure Dalia Karim, Designer Mario Mitri, and Businessman Ahmed Al-Akkawi and the Founder of the Beit El-Sit Group, Michel Sadaka.
Twelve contestants competed for the title of "Miss Zahle 2022": Aline Nabhan, Angela Abushaya, Alundra Touma, Cynthia Bachaalani, Celine Shamma, Rachel Touma, Christian Masih, Elita Riachi, Alice Hajjar, Maria Farha, Maria Kassis, Rita Fadel and Theresa Maria Burgess.
Representatives George Okais and Elias Stephan crowned Queen Elise Hajjar, while businessman Tony Sassine and his wife, Mrs. Marian, crowned the second runner-up, Maria Farha. The celebration included artistic performances by Singers Naji Al-Osta and Shiraz, in addition to artistic dance performances.
