As the summer season has already started, this week we want to congratulate Lebanese Music Producer & singer CMK Beats for an amazing achievement as he scores Back-to-back Number Ones on The Official Lebanese Top 20 with his latest music release “Lebanon” featuring Lebanese singer Sally. With its strong Electro Pop production, the artist moved away from his usual EDM sound to broaden his sonic spectrum. Furthermore, the song came at the right time where the country is on the verge of change, the lyrics are truthful and a reminder to every Lebanese of why we are so attached to this land even when we're abroad. Once again CMK Beats collaborates with his longtime friend Sally whose voice mixes elegantly with the beat to create a new masterpiece. For CMK Beats, Lebanon is just the beginning of a new musical revolution that promises a new album full of surprises and vibes unlike anything we might have heard before.
From the 4 New Entries on this week’s OLT20 the highest one at Number 13 comes from Lebanese artist Oliver Azzi with "Fina", which was filmed in an old mountain house which reflects the spirit of simplicity and Nostalgia. The song marks the first artistic collaboration between Oliver and Anthony Adonis, singer and founder of the band "Adonis", who wrote the lyrics and melody, while the music was arranged by Gio Vikani, and the clip was directed by Ray Heshmeh in a warm and playful visual style, and produced by Tia Murr. This song comes as a new release after the remarkable success of his first single "Abalk".
Finally note that the biggest jump of the week comes from Canadian singer Tate McRae with "Revolving Door", taken from her third studio album, “So Close to What” which bullets up to Number 9 from Number 16 last week.
On OLT20 this week we have 12 Local or Regional artists, and 8 Occidental ones.
All details on this week’s Chart can also be found on both the OLT20 Mobile App & OLT20 website at www.olt20.com
