Nicole Kamel: A success story of a Lebanese businesswoman and organizer of the most important exhibitions in Lebanon
She is a distinguished lady full of energy and hope, owner of the M & O events company. She works diligently to make the exhibitions she organizes a success, through which she highlights the creations of Lebanese designers, including jewelry, fashion, accessories and lifestyle. We met Mrs. Nicole Kamel, and she told us about her projects, which have met with great success locally and internationally.
- First, tell us about your company, M & O events?
M & O events is one of the most important exhibition organizing companies, founded in 1995. My company successfully launched and organized jewelry exhibitions, "Jawaher", which were held in the most luxurious hotels in Lebanon, in addition to chocolate and antique exhibitions, and Le Salon de L'Homme exhibition. These exhibitions were among the most successful exhibitions that everyone still remembers, especially in terms of presence of the most prominent personalities who always support my opponents. And here I am today, continuing my activity in the field of organizing exhibitions, despite the difficult economic and living conditions that Lebanon is going through, and thanks God, it has achieved remarkable success.
- How did the two Luxuria exhibitions resonate?
This year was full of exhibitions. After Mother's Day successful exhibition that was held in La Marina Dbayeh, I held two editions of Luxuria exhibition, the exhibition of luxury, the first during Eid Al-Fitr and the second during Eid Al-Adha at the Phoenicia Hotel. The aim of these exhibitions is to encourage the Lebanese industry and introduce visitors to Lebanese designers, artists and creators in various sectors.
- What distinguishes M & O events from other exhibition organizing companies?
M & O events company always presents new and creative ideas, wonderful organization, always supports handicrafts, and helps participants to expand and sell their handicrafts. We are also keen on the artistic and musical atmosphere that accompanies the exhibition. What helps me in this message is the support and presence of personalities from the community at my side, in addition to the constant support of the Ministry of Tourism.
- Tell us about the Summer of Love exhibition that will be held in Batroun?
M & O Events is preparing for another exhibition that will be held this summer in the city of Batroun, one of the most important and oldest historical and tourist cities in the world, famous for its charming narrow streets where old houses mix with gardens, old churches and ancient monuments. The exhibition will be held in “Dar Al Mona”, an art center located in the heart of Batroun, in a spacious and magnificent villa that was founded in 1860, from August 3 to August 6, 2023. Lebanese designers and creators will participate in this exhibition, presenting their distinguished works. The exhibition will be followed by another exhibition that will be held during the holidays at the end of the year, and there are future projects to establish exhibitions outside Lebanon with the aim of spreading Lebanese industries in all countries of the world.
