This week on OLT20 we want to congratulate Lebanese singer, songwriter & music composer Rima Yussef as she scores this week’s Number 1 on OLT20 with “Next” her latest single! “Next” is Yussef’s 3rd Lebanese Number One following “Maaleish” (2020) & recently “Ahenu Ilayka” (2023). From the day she started developing her musical abilities at the early age of six and until today, she was relatively active on the music scene. With this latest offering which is also doing amazing well globally & regionally with Millions of streams on the major Digital Platforms & more than 2M views on YouTube, it appears as she has moved up a gear, also developing her own music style combining the Arabic “Fos7a” singing with Modern International beats, and an English title all together! The result was absolutely exquisite! The song was written and composed by herself, and musically produced by Sleiman Damien.
On this 30th OLT20 of the year we have 5 New Entries in the countdown. The highest of those “Mama Eh" from Palestinian-Chilean singer and songwriter Elyanna comes in at Number 4, followed by Peggy Gou the South Korean DJ and record producer based in Germany coming in strong at Number 14 with “It Goes Like Nanana” her new single, and by new Lebanese singer Marwan Bardawil with his first ever release “2 Minutes” in at Number 15.
Finally note that biggest jump of the week comes from Balqees Ahmed Fathi, widely known by the mononym Balqees with “Alf Rouh" which bullets up to Number 7 (from Number 18 last week).
On OLT20 this week we have 12 Local or Regional artists, and 9 Occidental ones.
All details on this week’s Chart can also be found on both the OLT20 Mobile App & OLT20 website at www.olt20.com
