The idea of "Lebanon … a Tale of Love" was conceived and produced by the Jounieh International Festival Committee; it is a story of another dimension.
The evocative poems, skilfully crafted by the creative poet Nizar Francis, touched the hearts of the audience, and were complemented by the captivating voice of singer Carla Chamoun. The narrative eloquently depicts the struggle between immigration and love's sacrifice on one hand, and the eventual return to the homeland on the other hand.
"Lebanon … a Tale of Love" stands as a one-of-a-kind national event, filled with creativity, enchantment, and as a powerful message directed at the younger generation: "Hold on to your land," despite the allures of expat life.
