[12:37 PM, 2/10/2024] -: Pierre Fabre Moyen-Orient proudly announces the successful conclusion of its "Green Mission" initiative at the Pierre Fabre Offices in Sin El Fil. Held on February 6th, 2024, at 11 AM, the event showcased the company's persistent commitment to social responsibility as industry leaders, environmental advocates & influencers, and esteemed guests convened to witness another significant step towards a greener future.
Under the distinguished patronage of the Ministry of Environment, the event saw the valued presence of Minister Dr. Nasser Yassine and Mayor of Sin El Fil Municipality, Mr. Nabil Kahale, joining hands to mark this milestone in environmental sustainability.
During this latest event, the leading pharmaceutical and dermo-cosmetic group exhibited its unwavering keenness and efforts towards innovation, research, and ethical practices. Through the "Green Mission" initiative, Pierre Fabre Moyen-Orient’s team transformed the Sin El Fil area neighboring their offices’ building into a flourishing green space with the planting of 500 pine trees, the installation of solar panels, and re-painting the sidewalks and walls of the zone, on the 5th of February, one day prior to the celebratory event.
Today’s ceremony provided a platform for Mr. Naim Hanna, Managing Director, to emphasize the company’s dedication to environmental responsibility. Mr. Hanna stated, "Pierre Fabre group is fully committed to respecting the environment, putting nature at the heart of what we do, of our products’ development, and at the core of our operations. This Green Mission shows our strong engagement towards a greener and more sustainable future. We started in Lebanon as it’s the hub of our operations and we will eventually expand this initiative across the region."
Post-speeches, a heartfelt video showcased Pierre Fabre employees actively engaging in the forestation of February 5th. This attested to their hands-on involvement and enthusiasm for the "Green Mission” and their sense of belonging to their organization’s values.
The event also witnessed the inauguration of a landmark sign on the Sin El Fil roundabout. Detailing the specifics of Pierre Fabre's pioneering initiative, providing the community with a visual reminder of the importance of and the commitment to a sustainable future, and the possibility of making it happen in Lebanon’s bustling cities.
