Nestled in the tranquil embrace of Bekaa Kafra, Bechareh, in northern Lebanon, The Resting Mill is a newly inaugurated camping site that promises an escape into nature's serenity. Positioned near a 500-year-old mill, currently undergoing restoration and transformation into a cozy guest house, this site is a perfect blend of history and peaceful retreat.
Open 24/7, this picturesque site offers a haven for those seeking peace and quiet. Tents, each accommodating up to four people, are available for $60 per night. Throughout the week, guests can enjoy food provided by New York City Pizzeria, and Lebanese cuisine is served on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. A sanitation station is also conveniently available.
The Resting Mill officially opened on August 3rd, with several village officials, journalists, and celebrities from Beirut attending. They gathered to explore this enchanting site and were treated to a tour of Bekaa Kafra, reveling in its beauty and rich heritage. The evening culminated in a delightful gathering featuring local food, music, and traditional dancing, leaving behind unforgettable memories and vibrant vibes.
On August 10th, The Resting Mill will host a stand-up comedy show featuring Sam Ghazal, Stephanie Ghalbounie, and the G-Strings duo, adding a lively touch to its serene atmosphere.
