Gefinor Rotana has managed to break from the daily routine experienced by many elderly people by taking them on a journey into nature, inhaling fresh air and enjoying the cool breeze along with the soothing sunshine in Jourat Al Ballout in Upper Metn.
Around 40 elderly from "Dar Al Ajaza Al Islami" attended Gefinor Rotana's activity, part of "Your smile brings us joy" social initiative which was launched by Rotana Hotels in Lebanon at the beginning of this year. This initiative aims to give the elderly special care and the attention they deserve by organizing a series of various interactive activities.
Thus, 25 of Gefinor Rotana's employees prepared to celebrate this day with great enthusiasm and positivity, in order to make the experience as special as possible. Employees headed to Jourat Al Ballout to welcome their guests and were keen to prepare the activity in its entirety to receive them with open arms and hearts, a slogan all Rotana Hotels live by.
Commenting on the initiative, Franck Royer, General Manager of Gefinor Rotana said, "This is the second activity for Gefinor Rotana within 'Your smile brings us joy' initiative which Rotana Hotels in Lebanon launched at the start of this year. Our contribution to this initiative in drawing smiles on the faces of the elderly, especially those who are less fortunate, reflects the extent to which we are aware of the need for them to be happy and always in good company."
The guests enjoyed Lebanese cuisine in a fun atmosphere highlighted with the presence of a clown who brought back memories of their innocent childhoods. A guitar player was also present on this day, playing old and authentic Lebanese songs, reminding them of their youth. Prior to their departure, Gefinor Rotana team members offered all of their guests commemorative photographs taken on this special day which was filled with laughter.
