WonderEight hosted in its E-Room, on Wednesday October 2nd, the hottest up and coming haute-couture fashion designer in Lebanon, Jean Louis Sabaji, as part of their regular talks and workshops. This time, however, the talk had a special flavor as it marked WonderEight's first venture into fashion branding.
Throughout the talk, Jean Louis Sabaji shared his evolution on the road to success with the attending fashion experts, media and bloggers, in addition to an exclusive sneak peak to his 2014 fall/winter collection. He also revealed his newly designed identity and website, working with WonderEight to find the right voice for his cutting edge and glamorous talent.
"It was a pleasure working with WonderEight; I simply wanted a website that showcases my collection like a jewelry box, and this is exactly what I got", commented Jean Louis Sabaji, Owner and Fashion Designer at JLS. "The clear background and the dominating imagery make the colors and cuts look so vivid you almost feel like you are actually touching the fabric", he continued.
From his side, Walid Nasrala, Co-founder and designer at WonderEight, said: "The brief that we received was simple and straightforward; Jean Louis Sabaji wanted a neat website with very minimal UI elements. The main emphasis was to highlight his work without having too many distractions. The resulting design came out as a spotless interface with full-screen imagery and a limited amount of text putting forward the various items in his collection".
