    3rd Beirut Cooking Festival 2013

    And so the 3rd Beirut Cooking Festival is over after 3 days of delicious food and drink that were exposed at the Biel exhibition center.

     

    The organizers: Hospitality Services has been organizing HORECA in Beirut since 1993 and also organizes HORECA in Kuwait & KSA. Horeca (or HORECA) is the sector of the food service industry that consists of establishments, which prepare and serve food and beverages. Hospitality Services publishes trade publications for the industry including the bi-monthly Hospitality News Magazine, an e-newsletter and the Hospitality and Foodservice Directory for Lebanon, Jordan & Syria every two years. Also in 2011 two new quarterly publications are on board; Taste & Flavors and Lebanon Traveler.

     

    Beirut Cooking Festival is an event for each an every one of you, regardless of age and interests. If you were a wine lover you could try magnificent wines from Chateau Oumsiyat, Chateau Khoury, Chateau Ksara, Chateau Musar, Chateau St Thomas and many others.

     

    Café Diem was offering delicious coffee along with tasty desserts; Sohat put on display its new bottle of water and "little cake" offered chocolates for degustation.

     

    If you were there to shop for the house you could find kitchen equipment, accessories and utensils, tableware and a wide selection of cookbooks and signatures by famous book writers at Librairie Gourmande.

     

    Beirut cooking festival also offered "Chef's Kitchen Celebrity" where chefs cook live and give the audiences their best recipes, Cocktails preparations with famous bartenders and bar consultants, Olive Oil tasting sessions with professional olive oil experts and tasters, as mentioned earlier Wine Tasting Sessions with professional wine makers and experts and even a children's kitchen full program dedicated to kids between 6 and 10 years old and last but not least lifestyle workshops with etiquette consultants, designers, florists, foodservice experts and dieticians who spare to us the secret of hot to become the perfect host.

     

    And as Beiruting happened to be a media partner of the Beirut Cooking Festival, Lucas Lamah the owner of the media sphere took an interview with Randa Damous Pharaon the project manager HORECA Lebanon Partner for their magazine Taste & Flavors.
