THE NETWORK Communication Group recently held its first official regional management meeting in Beirut that channelled the efficiency of integration in its truest form. Serving local, regional and international clients as an ensemble, THE NETWORK is a one stop destination that answers the needs and challenges of the evolving communication landscape.
The three day meeting was presided over by the Group's Chairman, Roger Sahyoun and CEO, Saad El Zein and witnessed the attendance of regional management from the group's varied disciplines and seven offices that are present in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Beirut, Jeddah, Riyadh, Cairo and Jordan. Revolving around the theme "Live the challenge, be the change," the group's prime focus and vision for the approaching five years will be to drive change, ensure growth and expansion, and develop their valuable team of professionals. The wave of positive change is already visible as the group chocked a 35% growth in 2013 in terms of business turnover as well as employee recruitments in comparison to the previous year. In placing people, or what they call their assets, at the core of THE NETWORK's operations, the top management shared plans that involved more training and skill development sessions for increased enhancement of employees' aptitude. In addition to all these ambitious goals, the year 2014 will see the group further expand into the MENA region with a foray into South, East and West Africa on the cards too as they intend to open almost 22 new offices in the diverse disciplines they offer.
Held at Mr. Sahyoun's residence in the tranquil mountains of Keserwan Lebanon, the meeting was anything but formal and replicated the warm and familial style of working that the group prides itself on. Swearing by the motto "Everyone is a member, not a number," and positioning themselves as 1 team, 1 brain and 1 body, the easily adaptable group enjoys a family like feeling outside of the bureaucracy which also reflects in their services to their clients. Mirroring this belief, the meeting hosted quite a few bonding exercises to further boost the warmth and togetherness of the team.
Besides striving for growth and new clients, the group put forth another strategy that stays true to their roots and relationships, which was to maintain their existing portfolio of clients and uplift them to a higher level. The group regards their existing clients as esteemed partners who have embraced their aspirations through thick and thin, thus continues to dedicate themselves to growing with their partners and upholding their values through a long and fruitful journey.
On a similar vein, another and perhaps the most important point raised during the management meeting was regarding the variety of clientele that the group possesses. THE NETWORK Communication Group is the biggest independent network that caters to a portfolio of more than 60% of international clients. Albeit retaining a vision to increase this percentage even further, the Group ensures that every client of theirs is offered a unique, premium and personalized service without any differentiation whatsoever.
Speaking out on the occasion, Roger Sahyoun said: "Live the Challenge, Be the change means that we have to continuously evolve along with the changing scenario both internally and externally which is exactly what we have done and will continue to do. Our belief "If it can be done, I will do it" has been accepted and ingrained in the minds of the managers in attendance and we look forward to sustaining the familial culture of THE NETWORK as we brace ourselves and face every challenge the oncoming years throw at us."
