The 2014 Al Bustan Festival was launched on January 7.
Members of the local and international press attended the press conference to launch the 21st edition of the Al Bustan Festival.
The full program of 25 performances, from February 18th to March 23rd, 2014 was announced.
The Festival title is "Music and Nature" and focuses on music inspired by Nature.
The Festival has invited first class musicians from 18 countries : Armenia, Austria, Brazil, Canada, France, Georgia, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Japan, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Russia, Tunisia, Turkey, the UK and Lebanon.
The program includes a large variety of classical music, from Baroque to film music of the present time. Stravinsky's opera "Le Rossignol" and Mozart's "La Finta Giardiniera" will be performed for the first time in Lebanon, produced by the Russian avant-garde Helikon Opera, a regular at the Al Bustan Festival.
The program also includes for the first time the State Ballet of Georgia and the participation of prima ballerina Nina Ananiashvili.
Maestro Gianluca Marciano, the Italian Music Director of the Festival, flew overnight from Tbilisi to attend the Press conference.

The Press Conference was followed by lunch where diplomats mingled with members of the Press and Cultural Institutions.
