With this in mind we were a little apprehensive at first to try the Glycolic Peel but after the therapist at Clinique Passion Beauté explained the process in details and evaluated our skin we knew our face was in the right hands.
What is the Glycolic Peel?
The Glycolic Peel is an active rejuvenation treatment that provides a controlled and predictable removal of skin cells, to improve the texture and appearance of the skin.
This treatment is indicated for environmentally damaged, hyperpigmentation and problematic skin classifications. It is ideal as a deep exfoliator for mature, dry and delicate skin.
How does it work?
In this treatment, the skin is first cleansed, conditioned and exfoliated with the fruit enzymes. The Glycolic 35% peel is then applied for a specified number of minutes after which it is neutralised. A cooling mask of Algae is smoothed over to soothe and hydrate. This deeply exfoliating treatment is finished off with an application of the Nimue luxurious Hyaluronic Acid followed by a highly protective and silky smooth sun protection. A veil of the Nimue Vitamin C moisturising mist with cucumber extracts is spritzed over the complexion to refresh and awaken the senses.
Results:
This is a very effective, revitalising treatment with visible results from the first treatment - the skin looks and feels smooth with a radiance and luminosity that lasts for days. Any active treatments or products applied afterwards will reach deeper into the skin layers to work on treating the causes of skin's damage.
The Glycolic 35% peel is a 60-minutes treatment recommended on its own as a course of six treatments once a week for six weeks or in combination with other peels as per the skin expert's advice. This treatment can only be performed by a Nimue trained skin treatment professional.
