In celebration of its continued success, excellence, and achievements of 2013, especially the transition to 4G LTE, Alfa, managed by Orascom Telecom, held its annual gala dinner for its family in Biel's Pavillon Royal. The evening brought together several generations of Lebanese stars as well as international performances.
The celebration was attended by His Excellency the Minister of Telecommunications Nicolas Sehnaoui and his wife, Alfa CEO and Chairman Marwan Hayek and his wife, officials at the Ministry of Telecommunications, and Alfa's management.
In his speech, Hayek said: "At Alfa, optimism always accompanies us in every step we take. Our celebration tonight confirms this, as we challenge all circumstances and affirm that life will always prevail". He saluted "the Alfa team for their efforts last year, particularly in being the first operator in Lebanon and one of the first in the region to launch 4G. This is in addition to the projects that were launched and the various services that emphasized our company's leadership". He concluded with the hope that 2014 "will be filled with more success and excellence".
The dinner featured a breathtaking performance by international band Freelusion, the first dance troupe in the world that combines dancing with 3D Video Mapping. Then young star Anthony Touma, who made Lebanon proud in The Voice France after reaching the semi-finals, offered an exceptional performance with his outstanding voice.
The gala dinner ended beautifully with international Lebanese star Assi Hellani, who performed the most-loved dabke and authentic Lebanese songs into the early morning hours.
This annual gala dinner is an occasion to reflect the family spirit of Alfa, which aims to promote this spirit among colleagues in the company, thus leading to offer the best services to Alfa subscribers.
