Longines had the pleasure to present in Al Ain, the President of the UAE Show Jumping Cup presented by Longines and the first stage of the Furusiyya FEI Nations Cup 2014. During four days, the public has witnessed great moments of action with 5 CSIO 5* competitions.
The third competition in Al Ain was the Furusiyya FEI Nations Cup which saw three countries emerge victorious. Ukraine won first place with Qatar coming in at a close second and Saudi Arabia won third.
On Saturday, closing the event on a high note, the Longines Grand Prix saw the victory of Ouaddar Abdelkebir on Quickly de Kreisker. There was a total of Euro 320,000 to be won and winners were awarded at a ceremony in the presence of Shaikh Zayed Bin Sultan Bin Khalifa Al Nahyan. Also in attendance were the Secretary General of the UAE Olympic Committee and the Secretary General of the Emirates Equestrian Federation, as well as Charles Villoz, Vice President of Longines, and Patrick Aoun, Regional Brand Manager of Longines.
Dedicated to Longines' passion for equestrian sports, the Conquest Classic collection was the official watch of the event.
