Christmas 2013 was one jolly one for Roadster diner raising 18,115,000 LBP and donating it to the Heartbeat association following its annual Christmas campaign. Ever since its establishment, Roadster diner has truly believed in the importance of CSR and has partnered, over the years, with several NGOs and activists to give back to the communities in which it operates.
Following the recent Christmas campaign whereby every dessert or breakfast purchased, Roadster diner gave way to a 1000 LBP donation to Heartbeat. A ceremony was held on Saturday the 1st of March 2014 at Roadster diner in ABC Achrafieh where Mr. Donald Daccache, CEO of Roadster diner, announced the funds that were raised from this year's Christmas campaign, 18,115,000 LBP and then handed a donation cheque to Dr. Ramzi Ashoush, President of Heartbeat association.
"The dedication and passion of our customers and team members over the years has brought a great sense of hope to the patients and families of Heartbeat, and this hope only gets stronger with each year of the campaign," said Mr. Donald Daccache. "We look forward to this year's campaign and honor Heartbeat's efforts by continuing to do everything possible to end deadly heart diseases," he added.
The ceremony brought together representatives from Roadster diner and Heartbeat, loyal customers, and enthusiastic supporters.
Heartbeat is a humanitarian organization with a mission to provide the highest level of advanced surgical technology and expertise available to treat children with heart disease.
