So you think MINI can dance

    16 april 2014

MINI is set to show off its special character and theatrical side at the Beirut International Platform of Dance 2014 (BIPOD) taking place from Thursday 10th to Sunday 27th April. Bassoul Heneine sal, the official MINI importer in Lebanon, announced MINI will take centre stage during the opening ceremony.

Attracting international dance programmes and festival directors from all over the world, the 18 day dance festival is considered the first international contemporary dance festival in Lebanon and one of the most important in the region. Ensuring BIPOD fans never miss a beat throughout the dance extravaganza MINI has designed a series of colourful stickers helping attendees get into the groove and to dance their way from event to event throughout the festival.

Commenting on the MINI's first dance in Lebanon, Nagy Heneine, General Manager for Commercial Affairs at Bassoul-Heneine sal said: "BIPOD attracts the attention of enthusiastic individuals who have lively personalities that fit perfectly with MINI's fun character. MINI's uniqueness, passion and creativity position the brand as the perfect partner for BIPOD. This is not our 1st year with BIPOD but I am certain that this year will be a massive success - with MINI adding all of its trademark fun and excitement to the event."

BIPOD is organised by Maqamat Dance Theatre and is an annual contemporary dance platform. This edition features a specially developed platform to penetrate the Lebanese market; enhancing its already established reputation as one of the most important dance festivals in the region. This year's line-up includes internationally acclaimed companies from Norway, Belgium, Lebanon, UK, Germany, Morocco, Australia, France and Switzerland.

For its 10th anniversary, Bipod created the perfect program to celebrate dance by unique master classes, talks with the artists, BIPOD's 10th anniversary book launch, a retrospective exhibition as well as great parties around the festival.
