International Vehicles Corporation (I.V.C.) celebrated the opening of the Triumph Motorcycle Showroom in Toyota-Lexus City in Hazmieh. Triumph is the oldest and largest UK motorcycle brand, first established in 1902.
Attendees of the event included motorcycle fans, members of the media, as well as representatives of both the British Embassy and Triumph UK regional and headquarter offices. Mrs. Abda Sharif, the Deputy Head of Mission, and Mr. Nick Muddle, the Regional Export Sales Manager of Triumph in the UK, both expressed their amazement in front of such a massive launch of this iconic brand from the United Kingdom.
Guests were introduced to the British and world-famous, Triumph motorcycle lineup & accessories, as bikers were thrilled to take on star models such as the Bonneville, the Daytona, the Thunderbird and The Speed Triple, among others. In addition to TV and Radio coverage, included was live entertainment by local musicians Shady & The Band, who delighted guests and set the mood.
Whereas this is the first time that the Triumph motorcycles have a huge, fully dedicated showroom and club in Lebanon, these prestigious motorcycles have a rich history and were featured in films, such as 'The Great Escape,' the Terminator, and Mission Impossible and loved by celebrities, such as Steve McQueen, Marlon Brando and even Elvis Presley. Modern celebrities love it as well: Georges Clooney, Tom Cruise, Prince Harry, Paul McCartney, Richard Gere, and many more.
