Camper is now open at Beirut City Center in Hazmieh, following the success of Lebanon's first Camper store in Beirut Souks. The 72-square meter space reflects the brand's philosophy of luxury in simplicity.
Camper was founded in 1975 after a Majorcan shoemaker left his factory to his son, who went on to create footwear for urbanites with an appreciation for craftsmanship and style. The Spanish brand's motto - "imagination walks" - has defined collections that appeal to men, women and children. Though the brand prefers to buck trends and forge its own style path, it has amassed a solid, if eclectic, celebrity fan base. Robert Redford and Bruce Willis have been snapped in Camper shoes, and Dakota Fanning stood tall in Campers in The Twilight Saga: New Moon.
