The Arab Thought Foundation, and for the fourth year in a row, has announced the launch of its "Youth Ambassadors Program" for the year 2015.
The program aims at finding successful Arab Youth Models and creating a new generation of intellectual thinkers in the Arab World, role models who are aware of their nation's issues and are passionate in acting as catalysts, and setting examples of success for all Arab youth.
Attracting youth from 20 Arab Countries, the one year long program will serve as an ideal launch pad for the young generation to convey their countries' social and economic challenges and to show their determination and leadership in overcoming these challenges, while acting as ambassadors for the Arab Thought Foundation in their respective countries.
Applicants from the Arab World with distinctive leadership, communication skills and expertise in working with non-profit organizations will have till the 1st of August 2014 to apply to the program.
A panel of judges composed of leading experts from the Arab countries will evaluate applications and select 20 young ambassadors for 2015. The ambassadors' names will be announced in November during the first Youth conference, which will be held in Morocco.
Reflecting on his own experience with the program, Ihasan Kaadan, Ambassador of the Arab Thought Foundation in Syria 2013 - 2014, said: "it is one of the most unique experiences in the Arab world to engage young people in the cooperative civic work at the level of all Arab countries".
