George Clooney revealed that he will be marrying his bride-to-be Amal Alamuddin in Vencie, Italy in the coming weeks.
The actor let the news slip as the couple attended a Celebrity Fight Night in Italy together.
As he was on stage later in the evening to accept an award, the 53-year-old said that Italy holds a special place in his heart.
"I met my lovely bride-to-be here in Italy, whom I will be marrying in a couple of weeks, in Venice of all places," he said as he accepted the Humanitarian Award.
The pair got engaged in April, officially taking one of Hollywood's hottest bachelor's off the market. Before George's announcement, it was believed that the pair would wed at his Lake Como home.
However, it is believed that his house was later dismissed as it would not afford the couple enough privacy.
Now, the wedding is set to fall around their one-year anniversary having met in September of 2013.
Amal (36) has been rumoured to have stopped in to the Alexander McQueen headquarters recently, the fashion powerhouse that designed Kate Middleton's wedding dress.
The Celebrity Fight Night, which was for charity in memory of the legendary boxer, Muhammed Ali and the Andrea Bocelli Foundations, attracted celebrities and sporting icons from across the world.
The Fight Night has been running for 20 years and has raised almost $95 million in aid of Muhammad Ali Parkinson Centre.
Now, though, it's countdown to the wedding, which is suspected to be within the next two weeks, with A-list stars including Ocean's 11 co-stars, Matt Damon and Brad Pitt on the guest list.
