Massimo Dutti launches a new capsule collection inspired in the deepest of winter. The new arrival receives the name of Limited Edition Après Ski and it sees the light replete with fascinating proposals designed with the most premium quality materials and prepared to confront the challenging climate changes of the coldest season of the year.

 

 

 

The Après Ski Collection takes its name and inspiration from the style that was born in the decade of the fifties in the Swiss Alps, from its landscapes, its nature and, in short, from the aesthetics reflected in the graphism, illustration, photography and posters of the time that can be seen at Ski Stations such as Villars, Chesières, Les Diablerets, St. Bernard or St. Moritz

 

 

 

The Limited Edition is defined in the Women Collection through a chromatic scale that ranges from broken white, the natural colour of the wool fibres, right through to stone inspired hues, greys and mink, all combined with melange grey. In the case of the Men Collection, an elegant navy blue tone is incorporated that imparts freshness and a dynamic appearance to the whole, which is of a relaxed nature, yet very contemporary, perfectly combined with leather in the accessories and details.

 

 

 

The articles of the collection have been created for the coldest moments of the year and they count with premium quality in the fibres, which are always natural, such as pure virgin wool for duffel coats, anoraks and bomber jackets or high quality fabrics, with thermo-sealed and hydrophilic membranes applied to the reverse sides, in order to provide resistance to water, breathability and thermal isolation. Legging type pants with two-way stretch fabric or padded pants combined with wool and Jacquard sweaters inspired in the snow and with padded nylon vests made of 100% natural duck down.

 

 

 

The collection's accessories are an absolute must have that we do not want to forget. With a sporting look, these accessories are striking due to their soft volumes in travel bags and duffle bags, combining high quality padded wool or nylon flannels with finishing touches in leather. The knitted accessories, such as braided necklines in pure virgin wool or Jacquard scarves in "Fair Isle" type geometric motifs, walk hand-in-hand with padded lambskin gloves or double face gloves. In as far as footwear is concerned, we find mountain boots that combine comfort with the use of leather, split suede or sheepskin, occasionally with inner linings and rubber soles for 100% insulation from the cold.

The result is a surprising high quality collection, versatile for the urban cold or the freezing mountain cold.
