On Friday, Sept. 12, 2014 The Municipality of Brummana, in collaboration with "Dancing with The Stars-DWTSME" celebrity and ZUMBA® Fitness instructor Marcelino Gebrayel, organized Fitness Fusion in Brummana's Municipal court.
Fitness Fusion is a 4-hour entertaining fitness show targeting the whole family. It started at 6:15pm with a Boot Camp session for kids and was followed by a 35-minute ZUMBA® Kids show. Then, the whole family enjoyed the "Say I can Do it" Cardio session, Fitness fashion show by Bodytalk and a motivational fitness video prepared exclusively for the event. After announcing the names of the 2 TV lucky winners, Marcelino Gebrayel and the guest dancer Ms. Sandra Abbas along with his dance team rocked the stage with one awesome 45-minute ZUMBA® Fitness show.
Brummana was the city of fun and fitness on Friday, celebrating music and healthy habits. Everyone was dancing and shouting out of joy. It was such an exceptional motivational and inspirational journey.
"Fitness Fusion is a new concept in Lebanon," Gebrayel said. "We were thrilled to work with the Municipality of Brummana who believed in us and adopted our cause and worked really hard for it. They are so professional and passionate. We were really overwhelmed."
"Our aim is to raise fitness awareness and let people enjoy every drop of sweat," he added. "We wanted to show them that fitness can be so much fun."
"A healthy and active lifestyle is a decision that we have to make to live a better and happier life. We have to educate our children and grandchildren about the importance of all physical activities."
At the end, Mr. Gebrayel thanked the Mayor of Brummana Mr. Pierre Ashkar for his support and for hosting Fitness Fusion, Mr. Pascal Abi Fadel for his genuine help and the sponsors for their professionalism and efforts to make this event a success.
