We were wondering how the heck Kanye West was planning to top his birthday plans for Kim Kardashian last year (which included renting out a San Francisco stadium to propose with a huge diamond engagement ring in case you forgot), but the rapper managed to surprise his wife yet again for her 34th birthday this week.

Kanye woke up a confused (and probably grumpy) Kim at 3 a.m. early Tuesday morning with her bags already packed and whisked her away to Hawaii on a private jet, E! News reports.

The E! reality star shared a snap from her impromptu vacay on Instagram. Judging by her #daycation hashtag and the fact that she's hosting a party at Tao Las Vegas Friday night, it seems like this was a rather short trip.

But we've gotta give props to her hubby for managing to pull off yet another romantic surprise for his ladylove. Keep up the good work, Kanye!
