A non-profit organization established end of 2011 by a group of Lebanese businessmen to eliminate hungerin all Lebanon by establishing partnerships and cooperation with all those who are concerned
Our mission is to fight & overcome hunger by developing effective Feeding programs in parallel with Development & Awareness programs to eliminate hunger permanently and not temporary by 2020.
We aim to serve and support all needy Lebanese in all Lebanon's region, those who are unable to work, to improve their way of life; with no discrimination regarding political or religious believes. i.e.: Old people, disabled, person with chronic diseases, single mothers/ widows with children and Orphans.

The Lebanese Food Bank programs have four majors point to deal on the short and the long terms: Feeding, Awareness, Volunteering and Development. Each program will allow us to help the needy, those who are unable to work, in all Lebanon with no discrimination regarding religious or political believes.
Awareness Program: “Not To Waste Food” campaign
Target:
•Hotels, restaurants & catering companies
•Universities & schools
•Food companies & producer
•Banks & companies
Objectives:
•It helps build community (Volunteering)
•It improves environment
•It supports local food sourcing
The Awareness campaign action plan is a long term project with different points to deal with. The global idea is to prepare the following steps:
A)E-newsletter: send to LFB friends every 10 days to give information about LFB activities and plans.
B)Media plan: interviews in major TVs stations, radios and newspapers, magazines.
C)Leaflet/ flyers: various designed leaflet and flyers (informative, for the launching event,…) will be distributed in hotels, restaurants, bank and companies,…
D)Website: the LFB website will be launched soon. It will include all information related to the LFB programs and activities.

Volunteering: includes organizational (CSR) and individual volunteering. Volunteer opportunities which will cover a very wide range of services based on specialized skills and talents.
