Our mission is to change the way people think about food, health, medicine & the planet. One step towards accomplishing this mission is committing to providing the highest quality of fresh & natural food, thus getting the HACCP certification (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points):
HACCP is basically a tool to help identify & control food safety hazards that may occur within the food business. The food business is required to undergo an audit or assessment of its food safety and HACCP policies & procedures. An external certification authority performs the audit and grants the certification.
Proactive food businesses will gain HACCP certification to ensure that all possible food safety risks are covered - which makes good and logical business sense. In some countries it is even mandatory or a legal requirement that the food business has a certified HACCP system in place!
