The municipality of Jbeil and Eventions, in partnership with BSL BANK, launched on Friday May 15 the wine festival « Byblos en Blanc et Rosé ».From the 11th to the 13th of June, Byblos will show on the docks of the old port fresh wines of the summer.
There will be wine, music and the sea to brighten 3 memorable evenings. Guests will savor white wines, rosés and sparkling wines of all kinds. Oenophiles will also discover in advance, in this playful and friendly atmosphere, new wine labels.
Eddé Sands and food kiosks will offer a selection of dishes that match the wines offered during the event. In her speech, Neda Farah, Managing Director of Eventions, stated: «We are proud to revisit the steps of our ancestors to celebrate the good wine on the docks of this same harbor ».
Zafer Chaoui, President of the UVL, insisted on the fact that « Byblos is the pride of Lebanon because of its accomplishments of the last few years - we hope that all the regions in the country will be able to prosper as Byblos did. »
Louis Lahoud, General Manager of the Ministry of Agriculture, congratulated the Mayor Ziad Hawat who oversees the growth and development of the city of Jbeil. Mr. Lahoud thanked him for his initiative regarding the wine festival in the port of Byblos.
