Alfa, managed by Orascom Telecom, has launched the U-share exclusive service that allows postpaid and prepaid subscribers to share their data bundles from 10GB and above with other Alfa subscribers on various devices such as cell phones, tablets, usb dongles, and routers.
According to Alfa CEO and Chairman Marwan Hayek, "This exclusive and first of its kind service keeps pace with the needs of our subscribers, especially within the same family. Whether they are businesses, families, or individuals, it allows them to turn their cell phone or any other smart device into a hotspot regardless of the location of both users. U-share allows subscribers to save in their data consumption by allowing them to choose the amount of surplus megabytes they would like to share with other Alfa subscribers, thus enabling them to save and control consumption. It also offers subscribers a hassle-free experience because they can share data between their various electronic devices without the need to switch their SIM card every time".
Individual subscribers can share their data bundle with up to 3 subscribers, while corporate subscribers can share it with up to 7 subscribers.
