The 2015 edition of BLC Bank's The Brilliant Lebanese Awards is boosting and honoring outstanding individuals that contribute to Lebanon's economy, business and entrepreneurship community.
Each year Lebanese entrepreneurs get the chance to apply to The Brilliant Lebanese Awards and demonstrate excellence in four critical areas; Creativity, Financial, Sustainability, and Corporate Social Responsibility.
An independent jury will select the finalists in September to participate in the awards ceremony in November. Winners of the "Business of the Year" and "Woman Entrepreneur of the Year" categories will be rewarded with $30,000 each in addition to the BLA trophy, whereas the winner of the "People's Choice" award will receive a $5,000 prize along with the trophy.
In 2014, 150 entrepreneurs applied of which 12 participants made it to the finals. In December 2014, Diet Center represented by Sawsan Wazzan Jabri was announced winner for the Business of the Year Category; Mayrig represented by Aline Kamakian was awarded Woman Entrepreneur of the Year and the People's Choice went to Kristie's Agency represented by Christina Maria Khater.
With the 4th edition of the Brilliant Lebanese Awards almost here, the doors for candidates to submit their applications are open with a deadline for submission by June 30, 2015.
