The Armani Group is pleased to announce the opening of its new Giorgio Armani boutique in Beirut, Lebanon.
Elegantly located in the Platinum Tower ground floor, in Zaitunay Bay area, the completely renewed boutique covers over 370 squares metres and has been designed by Giorgio Armani and his team of architects.
The façade is characterized by a large bulkhead with a backlit bamboo pattern. On the ground floor, customers are welcomed to an area totally dedicated to the accessories and ready-to-wear collections for women, while the basement is devoted to menswear. Here, customers will also find Giorgio Armani Made to Measure, which for the first time in the city is presented in an exclusive, dedicated private room. Giorgio Armani's Made to Measure service is a study in the fine art of tailoring, and combines the world-famous spirit of Armani with the premium quality of made-to-measure craftsmanship.
The different levels are connected to each other by a staircase covered in silk georgette, as well as by the elevator.
The design of the boutique blends craftsmanship and modernity, perfectly complementing the aesthetic of Giorgio Armani's ready-to-wear and accessory collections for women and men. Materials used throughout include silk georgette for the floors and pearl grey marmorino plaster for the walls. The tables are in teak with black glass tops and there are bamboo details in mirror-effect steel that has been finished with a satin texture to suggest the ribbing of natural bamboo. The accessories area is characterised by transparent shelves that create the impression that the goods displayed are floating. All the chair seats and lamps are from the Armani/Casa collection.
