Beirut's nightlife authority toasts the best in the business
BEIRUT, November 19, 2012 - On Monday, November 19, leading events and culture magazine Time Out Beirut celebrated the people and places that keep our city buzzing when the lights go down. More than 400 industry insiders gathered at iconic venue Music Hall as Managing Director Naomi Sargeant announced the inaugural Time Out Beirut Nightlife Awards 2012 winners.
Guests enjoyed food catered by Citron Caviar and the winners toasted with Martini and Grey Goose cocktails to the sound of live performances from Slutterhouse, Hanine y Son Cubano and local act Pink Floyd, along with DJ Trix and VJ Das Scharf. 3D mapping was provided by Seel and table arrangements by White Events Planning.
The annual Time Out Beirut Nightlife Awards 2012 recognised the people and places that have made it impossible to stay in over the past 12 months. The equation is simple: 15 awards are split into Critics Choice Awards, as chosen by TOB critics, and by over 20,000 online voters for the Readers Choice Awards, as chosen by the people. Added to that are two monumental Grand Prix Awards for Best Club of the Year and Best Bar of the Year, compiled by Readers Choice votes. One seminal figure is also recognised for an outstanding contribution to Beirut nightlife.
