The leading consumer goods distribution company in Lebanon, G. Vincenti & Sons hosted a Label 5 aged 12 years Extra Premium Scotch Whisky tasting session in the Ayyam Gallery in Beirut Tower, Downtown.
Scottish writer, whisky ambassador, consultant and master blender Mr. Charles Mac Lean and Area Manager of La Martiniquaise, Mr. David Rieu, were invited to reveal the secrets of whisky blending, distilling, fermentation and more, taking the guests on a sensory journey to the very heart of the whisky industry.
Mr. Mac Lean has published ten books to date, including the standard work on whisky brands, Scotch whisky and the leading book on its subject, Malt Whisky, both of which were short-listed for Glenfiddich Awards.
The guest list included media representatives, VIPs and whiskey lovers, who enjoyed savouring the different whiskeys offered at the event including Label 5 aged 12 years Extra Premium Scotch Whisky. They also took home a bottle of Label 5 aged 12 years whisky, along with a certificate of the successful completion of the Label 5 Whisky Tasting Session.
