Within its framework of ongoing social and humanitarian activities and in extension to its charitable practices that support the Lebanese society, Raouché Arjaan by Rotana hotel has sponsored in collaboration with BASSMA - the nonprofit humanitarian organization dedicated to social development and helping deprived families - a lunch for elderly people, at the NGO's "Smile" restaurant, on August 27.
The elderly enjoyed the delicious healthy meals prepared by Raouché Arjaan by Rotana hotel's chefs. Moreover, the hotel's staff members haven't only distributed the one hundred meals to the attendees, but have also worked with the NGO's volunteers to ensure a fun atmosphere to the elderly, in order to draw a smile on their faces and print an amazing memory of this special gathering in their minds. The organizers took the elderly on a journey to their past and revived beautiful nostalgic memories through the old songs that they played during the gathering on the traditional "oud" instrument. Last but not least, to keep the elderly safe from the scorching sun, the hotel's staff members distributed white hats for everyone, in addition to small cakes as a dessert.
This humanitarian gesture from Raouché Arjaan by Rotana, is part of the ongoing charitable activities undertaken by Rotana hotels in order to reaffirm their support for humanitarian initiatives and every act that improves the situation of the Lebanese society and strengthens its structure.
