Award winning Maki Beirut restaurant has been an iconic culinary and entertainment haven for many Japanese fusion cuisine lovers. Since opening in 2002, Maki has brought a brand of cuisine that was unheard of in the Middle East and in Beirut.
So what would you expect to experience at this elegant, gastronomic attraction? To start with, Maki's food offering is unequaled in terms of imagination, presentation, taste, and flavorful combinations. Maki's founder, Mohamad Zeitoun, has taken the basics of Japanesecookery and added his own twist in a very refined and well executed manner. With countless hours of labor, research, and experimentation with various high-end ingredients, the chefs at Maki continue to put together the most amazing amalgamations and dishes to be savored by guests.
From the delicious Fusion Temaki Roll TM, which consists of succulent shrimp tempura, vegetables, and a special Maki sauce, artfully wrapped in soybean paper, to the flavorful Mount Fuji Maki TM covered with tantalizing foie Gras, mint leaves and rice pearl, to the list of desserts that include the mouthwatering, warm and soft Popcorn PainPerduTM, there is literally a "world" of flavors and a different experience you will have every time you walk through the door.
Maki's technological investment led to the group being the first in the world to introduce a wireless, paperless, "shopping-cart-style" Ipad menu where the guests place their own orders, while enjoying the mouthwatering and appetizing colorful depictions of Maki's dishes. With these Ipads, you can enjoy looking at and ordering Maki staple dishes such as the Amer MakiTM, the Fusion TemakiTM, Tartufo Yaki UdonTM, Maki Beirut SaladTM, and many other healthy delectables.
Visit Maki Beirut Restaurant on the 15th of December and you are guaranteed to receive a complimentary glass of champagne or dessert to celebrate this event. As for New Year's Eve, Maki Beirut is celebrating it in style with complimentary premium drinks, "cotillion" and tasteful music.
Fine tasting, refined cuisine, beautiful ambience, and five-star service have earned Maki and its chef several well-deserved awards, and acclaim from many food critics.
