(A possible solution for the electricity issues in Lebanon?)

Elen Musk, CEO of Tesla Motos, officially unveiled the release of the Powerwall, a battery designed to power your home! The news was brought up at a convention center that was completely powered by renewable battery power.

Throughout his speech, Musk refers to it as changing the "entire energy infrastructure of the world."

The Powerwall is a home battery that charges using electricity generated from solar panels, or when utility rates are low, and powers your home in the evening. It also strengthens your home against power outages by providing a backup electricity supply.

Considering the power cuts in Lebanon, and the need for a solution, would it be efficient to have several/ multiple batteries, each bundle for a different area working together to power the country?

The Powerwall is automated, compact and simple to install; it offers independence from the utility grid and the security of an emergency backup.

The battery in itself contains batteries present in Tesla electric cars, rechargeable lithium ion battery with liquid thermal control and is the same.

The batteries come in two types:

-       The 7kWh which will ship for $3,000

-       The 10kWh which will ship for $3,500

Multiple batteries may be installed together for homes with greater energy need.

These eco friendly batteries that come in different colors store their electricity from solar and wind generators. So do you think that these could be a possible solution which we have all been waiting and dreaming of, for the electricity cuts in Lebanon?
