    Movenpick Hotel Beirut has celebrated once again its traditional Christmas trees lighting

    The Christmas trees' lighting ceremony became an annual tradition that gathers all of Mövenpick Hotel Beirut corporate clients and key media representatives, and marks the beginning of a three week festive tradition characterized by a special Christmas service. The event was held on December 7th, 2012 from 8.00pm until 10.00pm.


    Marking the opening of the event, the attendees held lit candles while asinger performed live the true spirit of the merry season. Christmas trees decorated by nine embassies with thousands of lights, including the giant one in the Main Lobby, were lit in the hotel, for a splendid atmosphere.


    Jan Bundgaard, General Manager at Mövenpick Hotel Beirut, announcedthat Embassy of Belgium was the winner of the best decorated tree, which was selected by the attendees; and the prize was five complimentary nights at the hotel.


    "Year after year, this cherished hotel celebration increasingly bringstogether hundreds of guests to share magical moments of enlightenment, music, sweets and live holiday cheers!" says the General Manager.
