B Design hosted an event at "Les Restaurants du Coeur" in Sin el-Fil in an aim to contribute and give back to society on the holy Adha occasion. Along with Mrs. Antoinette Azan, a former employee of the Labor Ministry and current director of the "Les Restaurants du Coeur" center, 5 employees from B Design attended the event and helped distribute takeaway lunch boxes and participated in a seated lunch at the restaurant with the guests.
"The importance of hosting this event is its benefit on the needy and poor society especially that the requirements of a respectable life are many," said Mr. Hussein El Batal, the CEO of B Design. He added: "The aim of such an event is to increase the social empathy between the members of the local community without any discrimination."
B Design employees celebrated the holy Adha occasion with the families that attended the lunch. B Design selected "Les Restaurants Du Coeur" for the event because of its nonsectarian policy, which makes it a unique resource for underprivileged families in Lebanon.
Founded in 1983, "Les Restaurants du Coeur" aims to provide clean, hot meals to all needy families and individuals. In addition to it being a soup kitchen, its staff members also share meals with the restaurant's patrons, in order to deepen the sense of community.
