For the past six years, Photomed Festival has been showcasing and highlighting Mediterranean beauty. From documentary testimonials to pure artistic expression, photography is a way to register and comprehend the world from several points of view. Beyond political, social, and religious upheavals, the Mediterranean is, above all, a region full of life and movement: it is similar to Photomed Festival which every year brings together young talents and well known artists and photographers.

The Lebanese edition of Photomed was created in 2014. Three years later, Photomed has become the key event for photography in Beirut. The 2016 edition offers a tribute to the Spanish photographers Toni Catany, Alvaro Sanchez-Montanes, and LuisVioque, to the Italians Alessandro Puccinelli and Angelo Anolino, to the Spanish collector Gabino Diego, and to the French Edouard Boubat, Emma Grosbois, and Arno Brignon. Lebanon is represented by Randa Mirza, Karim Sakr, and Elsie Haddad, and also by a partnership established between five galleries from Beirut.
