There is no doubt that a cup of coffee is the ultimate way to kick-start the day. What's more, NESCAFÉ recently revealed that for women there are many positive health benefits associated with moderate coffee consumption including helping to reduce the risk of strokes and diabetes. In light of this, NESCAFÉ has organized a special half day women's workshop last week at the Hilton Beirut Metropolitan Palace Hotel about the many positive health benefits consuming three to four cups of coffee has on the body and mind.
Hundreds of attendees participated in a range of interactive activities during which nutritionists provided tips and advice on various health topics. The event served as a great platform for women to discuss their coffee and health queries with professionals and participate in additional entertaining activities such as a three minute Zumba session, competitions, prize distribution, nail decorating sessions.
Karine Janho, Corporate Nutritionist at Nestlé Middle East, comments, "Our objective was to create a fun, educational event to provide female coffee fans in Lebanon an opportunity to learn more about the health benefits of coffee consumption. Many modern studies now highlight the positive effects of coffee drinking on women's health, for example: it reduces the risks of depression and also reduces the chances of developing diabetes by half. This is great news for female coffee lovers, and we are glad to have hosted many of them at our event last weekend."
Guests also sampled NESCAFÉ's wide range of coffee products.
