Music lovers and fashionistas were out in force last week as Paul Smith opened their doors to the public and hosted their first in store music concert in Lebanon.
The concert, which was held in the Park Avenue Paul Smith boutique in Beirut, came as part of a new campaign from the British brand to support local artists. Beirut's finest flocked to the store in anticipation to watch local indie rock band "Joy" perform.
Getting into the festive spirit, the Paul Smith boutique was transformed into a Christmas hang out for the guests. Sparkling decorations, Christmas wreaths and flowers along with festive window displays created a fun holiday ambience. Guests were treated to Christmas cookies and funky style canapés along with classic British style food, in keeping with the brands identity.
A DJ warmed up the crowd with a selection of Sir Paul's top tracks before the band took to the stage.
Beginning with a short selection of acoustic numbers, Joy played solo to the crowd, before being joined by her band members later to get the party in full swing. A surprise guest performance from jazz singer Claudia Patrice also spiced up the evening.
Guests browsed the Autumn Winter 2012 collection, including the women's ready to wear and accessories and men's collections.
The concert follows on from in store concert in Bahrain and the UAE earlier this year. The campaign will continue with more concerts, exhibitions and events to move throughout the region in 2013.
After moving to the music, guests left with a spring in their step and a special Paul Smith goody in their hand.
