The season's most magical and festive exhibition Christmas World, in collaboration with the Catholic Information Center, ran from Thursday December 10 until December 13 at Lebanon's trendiest and hippest area Mar Mikhael and in its historic and expansive Bus Station. The exhibition was attended by thousands of visitors who commented on it's high quality and on the variety of products and activities offered.

Under the Patronage of the Ministry of Economy, Christmas World was officially opened on December 10  by the Minister of Economy, Mr. Alain Hakim, who cut the ribbon at the Opening Ceremony .The Minister spoke of the economic significance of such exhibitions to the country's retail sector and praised the work and effort that went into Christmas World. In his speech, he said: "Exhibitions such as Christmas World play an integral role in revitalizing the economic activity in Lebanon and are an indicator that the Lebanese spirit will prevail despite all hardships."

The Opening Ceremony was held in the presence of representatives of the Christmas World's organizing company, Fairs And Exhibitions World and the representative of the Catholic Information Center, Father Abdo Abu Kassem.

Also present were representatives of the exhibition's main partners SGBL and Allianz-SNA, representative of the Beirut Maronite Archbishop Boulos Matar, representatives of its sponsors, the media as well as key figures and notable people.

The exhibition's thrilling Opening Ceremony, under the theme of "Christmas Resolution", received a lot of positive feedback and was inspired to raise awareness on the waste management crisis Lebanon is facing. It was designed by the brilliant artist Tina Azar, and unveiled through a live performance by cirqueenciel, who took action against garbage in a creative manner revealing Christmas trees decorated with recyclable materials representing the three main pillars of recycling (recycling, reusing and composting).

Following the opening ceremony, the Minister and esteemed gusted toured Christmas World's 2,000 meter squared exhibition space, stopping at various exhibitors and commenting on the high quality of the exhibition.

Christmas World featured more than a hundred exciting exhibitors highlighting a dizzying variety of brands and products ranging from Christmas decoration to jewelry, and from watches to accessories. Also exhibited, to name but a few more, are clothing and fashion items, fine beverages, chocolates and sweets, home accessories and design, electronics and high tech equipment. The exhibition also included a food court with a wide variety of delicious choices featuring cuisines from around the globe.

Also noteworthy is Christmas World's support of Caritas Lebanon through a fundraising reception attended by more than a 100 esteemed guests on Friday December 11, 2015 where all proceedings went to aid the NGO in their charitable work. Moreover, one of the Christmas trees in the exhibition is decorated with a wide range of Caritas products from mouneh to crafts, sales of which will also go for supporting the NGO.

An exciting and dynamic children's section, Kids' World, animated by C2C, was part of the exhibition and included many festive activities such as Santa's workshop with an opportunity to take photos with Santa Clause,  arts and crafts and an elves show to mention only a few.

This exclusive and one of a kind event is organized by FEW, Fairs and Exhibitions World, which in addition to its years of collective experience in exhibitions and corporate events' planning, management and execution, has also organized the widely successful "Men's World 2015" exhibition.

When asked about Christmas World, representatives of FEW said: "We organized Christmas World as a gift for the Lebanese who, despite the difficulties the country is going through, continue to have a festive and giving spirit."
