Alfa, managed by Orascom Telecom, launched the Alfa U-shop app, which offers all its prepaid and postpaid subscribers the best exclusive shopping deals by high-end brands and local stores that provide a variety of goods and services to suit all tastes.
Alfa CEO and Chairman Marwan Hayek said, "The launch of this exclusive app aims to keep pace with the tremendous growth in the digital economy market. This is in addition to the smartphone apps market, whereby apps have become a major source upon which two million Alfa subscribers depend to secure their needs, as 70% of them are active mobile data users". He added, "It is evident for us to lead the current trend after Alfa was a major contributor to the expansion of the digital economy in Lebanon, with our network recording an unprecedented rise in mobile data traffic, which reached the record number of 800 Terabytes a month".
Alfa subscribers can download the Alfa U-shop app on their smartphones for free and benefit from the offers at no extra charges or fees, from the following app stores: Alfa App Store, App Store, and Google Play or via alfa.com.lb. A coupon is issued when an offer is selected which is to be shown by the user at the store to benefit from the discount.
