Under the patronage and in the presence of French Ambassador
to Lebanon Mr. Patrice Paoli and as part of "Alfa 4-Life" CSR Program, the exhibition "Voir Avec les Mains" was held on Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at the Residence des Pins in Beirut, where 16 students from the Lebanese School for the Blind and Deaf (LSBD) exhibited their sculptures and artistic creations. The event was attended by Mrs. May Mikati representing HE the Prime Minister, Najib Mikati, and a multitude of ambassadors, parliamentarians, prominent cultural, artistic, political and media figures alongside the
    Alfa management and employees.

The exhibition featured a collection of 30 sculptures representing different forms of persons and objects through which students have projected their vision of life, demonstrating exceptional and unlimited ability to express themselves, showing a refined art that dazzled the audience. The exhibition was the culmination of ongoing efforts by the students under the supervision of sculptor Anachar Basbous and of Mrs Rita Moukarzel, head of the union of graphic design and illustration art in Lebanon. During the exhibition, many sculptures were sold and the profits were donated to the Lebanese School for the Blind and Deaf (LSBD).

On this occasion, speeches were delivered by Ambassador Paoli, Alfa Chairman and CEO Marwan Hayek and Mrs. Wadad Lahoud, Director of the School.

In his speech, Hayek thanked the French Ambassador Patrice Paoli for having "endorsed this initiative and supported the talent of the children". He also expressed his "great admiration for the exceptional talents of the children, which proves, as Helen Keller wants it, that beauty is everywhere, even in the silence and darkness, but only when it can be seen and heard through the heart."

Hayek added that "we, at Alfa, are committed towards the Lebanese community because we are confident that our support for the most vulnerable, including children with special communication needs, helps them develop their productivity and ability to express themselves, to play their role as active members of the society". Hayek also noted that the Pan Arab Gold Award for Excellence in Corporate Social Responsibility for 2012, that Alfa  received from the Arab Organization for Social Responsibility "is something we take pride in and which encourages us to give more."
