A new device will make users feel like they are in 'another world'.
By using only your two ears, you can be transporting yourself to any time or place.
Tech company OSSIC, in San Diego, California, have been working on OSSIC X, a headphone which measures the side of your head and shape of your ears.
Using a changeable algorithm, it customises audio playback for the wearer.
The result of all these components is a pair of cans that instantly calibrates audio based on your particular head size, ear position and torso in a process the company calls HRTF (head related transfer function) anatomy calibration.
