This year at Horeca 2016's prestigious Salon Culinaire, Le Royal won a record 21 gold, silver and bronze medals, as well as two certificates for all the amazing dishes and desserts that the chefs prepared. Out of these, there were 9 gold medals, two of which are 'First Gold Medals', representing true masterpieces in the form of two fabulous 4-course Lebanese menus by Chef Charbel Nakad and Chef Georges Nohra.
Bringing many more gold-quality delicacies to the judges and visitors at Horeca, Le Royal impressed with dishes such as the Mediterranean Sea Wonder, Salmon Aubergine, Lebanese Beef Burger and Sweetie Mermaid Sandwich. The Arabic Mosaic in the Arabic Sweets Category added a sweet finale to Le Royal's gold awards.
Very noteworthy as well, numerous silver and bronze medals were won by the rest of the team, which had prepared delicacies from tapas and sandwiches to the best macaron and three plated dessert! The wins don't stop here: the property earned a certificate given for the first time at Horeca for the highest number of medals. Moreover hygiene services company Boecker gave three hygiene certificates to Chefs Charbel Nakad, Georges Nohra and Alexander Limanski who showed exceptional adherence to food safety rules, underlining the high standards at Le Royal's kitchens from all perspectives.
For many years, all this excellence and talent has been expertly channeled into the menus of Le Royal, particularly at Le Jardin du Royal, Diwan Shahrayar and the Titanic Piano Bar.
