Following the huge success of the Green Mind Awards last October in the Greenest Gala Awards ceremony of the Middle East, Green Mind and e-EcoSolutions held the GREEN MIND DAY at Monroe Hotel Beirut; fulfilling the Award program promises by providing investment opportunities to all participants.
The GREEN MIND DAY was attended by 45 Green Mind Award winners, runner ups, finalists and participants. Each had a reserved space to showcase their achievement to interested Venture Capital, Potential Angel Investors and the Media.
The spirit of the event was entrepreneurial, casual and provided excellent networking among the Participants and all the Sponsors, Supporters and Media partners of the Green Mind Award.
"Today's gathering is a continuation of the commitment made by the Green Mind Award to encourage best green practices amongst organizations and especially to help Green entrepreneurs get funding for their projects - one of the promises made in the Green Mind Award." said Nada Zaarour, President of the Green Mind NGO. "I also hope that the interviews conducted with all the media will soon open many more opportunities for the Green Mind Stars".
Gilbert Tegho, CEO of e-EcoSolutions added: "We are very pleased with the interest of BADER Program in a high number of projects that they interviewed privately in a dedicated meeting room. Among the highlights was the interest of Potential, and Cisco Entrepreneur Institute/Amideast in supporting the participants either financially or through their own development programs."
The distinguished Jury Panel also met to discuss potential improvement methods for the Green Mind Awards 2013.
The GREEN MIND DAY concluded with a cocktail reception celebrating the start of the New Year 2013 and inviting all prominent media in the Country to give another round of applause to all participating projects that made positive impact on the environment in the MENA region.
