Dunlop, the first branded and most prestigious tire in the world that has been marking history since 1888, re-launched in Lebanon under the new management of Boustany Trading Company.The re-launch event took place at Monroe Hotel Beirut on the 12thof May, 2016 in the presence of Mr. Takeshi Adachi, Managing Director of Dunlop in the Middle East,high ranking officials from the automotive industry and the media corps.
The new management will be led by Mr. Pierre Boustany, who brings more than 40 years of experience to the Lebanese automotive market.Alongside his daughter, Ms. Christelle Boustany, anda well-experiencedteam of professionals, he will be working in close collaboration with the mother company, Dunlop Japan,to drive business development and make high-performance technology and absolute safety accessible across Lebanon.
On the occasion, Ms.Boustany commented: "More than a century of innovation and experience goes into every Dunlop tire, and only an equally innovative and experienced team can take this brand to a whole new level. Weare very enthusiastic to take on this new challenge and put our expertise at the service of the Lebanese tire and automotive industry".
During the event, Dunlop launched three new-generation patterns: Veuro 303, PT3, and MAXX 050+, combining high handling stability with superior performance to meet the needs of the next generation of high-performance vehicles. These patterns will be available in Lebanon starting May 15, 2016.
