Hundreds of children and teenagers with their parents attended the premiere screening of Disney's Finding Dory organized by Roads for Lifeat the Beirut Souks theaters.
In addition to hundreds of children and parents who bought tickets for the event, the attendance included orphans from the Dar al-Aytam al-Islamiya, Dr. Mohammad Khaled's Charities and the al-Makassed Charity thanks to the generous donation of Alwaleed Philanthropies.
Roads for Life President Zeina Kassem asserted that "civil society now forms a shadow cabinet". The main pillar supporting the growing capacity of civil society associations in Lebanon, she said, "is community support and cooperation. Accordingly, we cannot but thank Alwaleed Philanthropies, represented by its president Mrs. Leila al-Solh Hamadeh, who has always been a pioneer in the field of generous giving and useful humanitarian commitment."
