In presence of key socialites and political figures
Magic, glamour and sassiness dominated the ceremony held on the occasion of launching the first book by Ziad Raphael Nassar, the famed Lebanese weddings designer.
In a select chic venue, hosting high end social occasions at the Magnanerie du Soie- Sed El Bauchrieh, Ziad unveiled his first weddings book published with Assouline NY’s ultimate collection.
The ceremony was effortlessly successful thanks to Ziad’s renowned background as a unique weddings creator; numerous business, political and society figures flocked into the venue to share with Ziad his joy with this first of a kind achievement. Mrs. Mona Hrawi, the ex First Lady along with Maher and Leila Mikati representing PM Najib Mikati and MPs Alain Aoun and Walid Khoury and Dr. Fadi Comair, the Director General of Hydraulic and Electrical Resources of Lebanon and the Director of the Water & Energy, participated in this special book launch.
In addition, peers in the design and art industry came to cheer Ziad’s accomplishment especially singer Elissa, actor Bassem Feghali, actress Nada Abou Farhat, music arranger Michel Fadel, artist Shakeeb Richani and sculptor Anachar Bassbouss. Makeup artist Bassam Fattouh and ex Miss Lebanon Nadine Wilson Njeim also attended the event.
Ziad also received during the launch ceremony, key business leaders including Mr. Nicolas Shammas, President of Beirut Commerce Chamber and his spouse Mrs. Violette Chammas, Director of Chanel in Lebanon in addition to a number of key media figures including Mrs. Katia Moundalak, Sana’a Nasr and Roula Mouawad.
